Biblical Living for the Family
On this page I will post various stories and photos of my family involved in
living the Bible. Hebraic culture is rich and rewarding for the entire family.
Biblical religion is rooted in family life. Indications that God intends
for His way to be taught to our children is found in the book of Genesis in a
moving passage. In this passage, we the readers are allowed a glimpse into
the very thoughts of God. Abraham is called the friend of God (Isaiah
41:8, 2 Chronicles 20:7, and James 2:23). Notice what God reveals:
NRS Genesis 18:17 The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about
to do, 18 seeing that Abraham shall become a great and mighty nation, and all
the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 No, for I have chosen him,
that he may charge his children and his household after him to keep the way of
the LORD by doing righteousness and justice; so that the LORD may bring about
for Abraham what he has promised him."
Did you catch that? The very reason that God chose Abraham was so that he
"may charge his children and his household after him to keep the way of the
LORD.."
I invite you to join my family as we learn to keep the way of the LORD and I
would hope that this page inspires you to do the same with your own household.
KJV Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you
this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that
were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land
ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
